Hey.. I'm English.

Hey guys. No idea if any of you can understand what I'm writing but hey.
I'm Carl, I'm 26 and from London, UK. I brought a cpi for a laugh from a bike breakers and was told it's similar to the Derbi Senda supermoto.
The engine is a miniarelli AM6 so I'm told and was just wondering if there is any info you guys could share and what stuff I could do to make it fun. It's going to be just for stunting mainly and some terrorising of the tarmac
anyway, pictures.
Thats the only picture I have atm as it's tucked away 'cos it's been raining alot. I managed to get it running and broke the inlet copper pipe thing from the carb that attaches to the autolube. So I've opted for premix instead. Meaning I can do away with the autolube altogether. I've been told the standard exhaust is restrictive so I'll be getting rid and going for something to give it a little more breath.
Comments welcome.

Hey,
Welcome on Derbi-Forum.
To be honest, CPI doens't have a very good reputation. They are chinese bikes, so they tend to break a lot. I hope you didn't pay too much for it.
The engine is a replica of a minarelli AM6 engine. Meaning, it is exactly the same, only the quality is not as good. If you would happen to find a genuine Minarelli AM6 engine for a nice price I would swap this one for a genuine one. (200 euro for a rebuilt one is a fair deal, so that would be 150 pounds I suppose.) It will bolt right in.
As far as the cosmetics go, they are fine. I haven't heard of frames breaking or wheels falling apart, so you should be fine with that.
If you want to go faster I'd recommend changing the exhaust. This will make the biggest difference. Depending on what you'd want there are a lot of options. I'd personally go for an upper exhaust, since it's a supermoto, like a Yasuni Cross HM. If you would decide to change your cilinderkit for a bigger one, like a 70cc, that exhaust would still work fine on it, so you wouldn't be buying a new one then.
You could make it as crazy as you want.

Hey thanks for the reply.
Yeah I used to have a Yamaha DT125R Supermoto that I made all myself from a standard unmolested DTR125. So I know my way around a bike. I have a spare NSR125 JC22 engine in my garage and I'm handy with a welder so I may transplant the engine into it. Yeah I've heard their shit too, but tbh it's just for abit of fun and If like you say I swap out the engine then it should be fine, although I've heard the electrics are crap too.
We'll see, I want to turn it into something fun that I can then sell on to someone else for their enjoyment.
With regards to parts, I have looked on Adrenalin pedstop, are there any other websites that I can't find stuff?
Thanks

This is my old bike. I used it everyday for commuting and it never skipped a beat.

Its the standard front pipe, only I cut it open and removed the cat and welded it back up. Much better performance gains than an aftermarket one.
And thanks, Yeah it was my favourite but then it got nicked. I'll have fun on the CPI no doubt
