Hello derbi forum,
First of all, i am sorry that i dont speak nl
But my problem is that i bought this tail light:
http://www.gearparts24.de/ruecklicht-str8:a4253.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And the turn signals are flashing too fast, so i want to put on some resistors, but which resistors should i put on? And how powerful?
My bike is the Aprilia SX 50 year 2011.
LED Turn signals flashing too fast, which resistors?

I'm not sure how much ohm this is, but you'll need this;

Re: LED Turn signals flashing too fast, which resistors?
Hi,
First of all you are going to need load resistors not normal ones. This is because you need to simulate the load that was being created by the indicator bulbs, these resistors are rated at 50% if used constantly ( flashing an indicator I would consider constant for this case as the 0.5 seconds it is off is not enough for it to cool sufficiently. So if you had say a 21w indicator bulb you should not take the 25w load resistor as 50% of 25w is less than your bulb. You should take the next step up which is a 50w. Then to determine the ohm value needed you should google ohm's law and make some calculations.
I would guesstimate around 6-7 ohms.
Or.....
Just do it properly and get a led relais.
Load resistors are chunky and like getting warm.

Derbiamor, is it possible to change to the LED relais on the Aprilia SX 50, because i cant find my relais. Where is it, can you maybe post a picture?

There is a schematic i found. It appears that 14 is the relay, what they call flasher on the diagram, follow the cables, and you will find it.
You can't change the LED relay because you don't have one, you must replace the existing relay you have for a LED one. Should be a real simple rewire...
I don't know where it is as i don't have the same bike as you, though.... visit...

search for "aprilia sx 50 flasher relay"
Good luck.
